Roscommon Township, in conjunction with Republic Services, is pleased to announce an expanded solid waste collection program for the Township residents which includes a cart for each Township residence for the containment of their solid waste. The first collection began on April 3, 2013.
Spring, Summer and Fall Hours for the Compost/Recycle Center
The Compost/Recycle Center will be opening Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024. Regular hours will be Wednesday through Sunday 9:00am-4:00pm.
Trash collection day is Monday. Collection begins at 6 a.m.
Please call Republic at 1-800-438-0966, in advance for special pickups, such as a mattress, couch or other large items.

COMPOST/RECYCLE CENTER PERMITS
THERE IS NO COMPOST CENTER PERMIT CHARGE FOR RESIDENTS. NON-RESIDENTS AND COMMERCIAL USERS MAY CONTACT THE ROSCOMMON TOWNSHIP HALL FOR INFORMATION ON RATES FOR USE. STICKERS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE TOWNSHIP OFFICE.
During the spring, summer and early fall the Compost/Recycle Center is open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 am – 4 pm, for your convenience. Helpful Tip: When recycling cardboard, please try to have it flattened.
