Houghton Lake Improvement Board Notice

The Houghton Lake Improvement Board is seeking applicants interested in appointment as the riparian member of the board. The successful applicant will be appointed by the current board members to a four year term. Applicants for this position must have an interest in a land contract or a recorded interest in the title to a piece or parcel of land that abuts Houghton Lake. Any  one interested should submit a resume or letter of interest (including contact in formation with address, telephone number and email address) to: Houghton Lake Improvement Board, PO Box 843, Houghton Lake, Michigan or by email to 48629, [email protected]. Candidates should be prepared to meet with the Board at 7:00pm on January 21, 2027, at the Markey Township Hall. Submissions must be received on or before Friday, January 8, 2027
